Braintree Town ladies have been rewarded with a home draw in their first ever Womens F.A.Cup tie.
In the Preliminary round draw the Iron ladies will be playing host to Eastbourne Borough on Sunday 28th August, 2pm kick off and if they are successful a fortnight later they will be away to Thatcham Town.
Braintree Town ladies Manager David Streetley's reaction to the draw was: "This match is two weeks earlier than we expected but we will be ready for the challenge. The FA Cup is something special and will be a new experience for many of our players and being drawn at home will ensure that it will be a wonderful occasion. The wife might get a surprise weekend away in Eastbourne now so I can scout the opponents!"
